How YOU can help

Explore the many ways to give to the RVNA
Remarkable things happen at the Rehabilitation and Visiting Nurse Association (RVNA) every day, but we can’t do it without your help. We invite you to explore the many ways you can give to the RVNA - and touch the life some of the most vulnerable members of your community, what greater contribution could anyone make? There are many ways to give, and every gift, of any size, is greatly appreciated. Your tax-deductible support ensures that RVNA is always ready when you, your loved ones or friends need us.

Donate Today

RVNA fosters a spirit of giving by making health care access a reality for our community.  While the costs of treating patients are typically covered through Medicaid, Medicare and private health insurance companies, these sources do not provide adequate reimbursement for the RVNA to deliver home health care for all those in need in our community. As the only community based not-for-profit home health care agency in the area, we stand in the front lines of public health care. For many of our clients, RVNA is the only source of quality home care services, providing direct home care by nurses, rehabilitation therapists, and more. This capability is greatly dependent upon private philanthropic resources.Donate Today
Contributions are the vehicles by which the agency is able to provide charitable care to needy patients, develop new programs, and provide continuing education to the professional staff. Gifts large and small will promote the health and well-being of our patients and their families. Your generous donation to RVNA will:

  • Provide urgent and long-term health care for people who are uninsured or underinsured;
  • Fund home health care for babies who have complicated medical needs and services to help parents care for their children at home;

The RVNA is an essential institution in our community. We rely on the contributions of individuals, corporations, foundations and government agencies to fulfill our mission to care for all, regardless of their ability to pay for care. We are extremely grateful to our individual and institutional donors, and we appeal to others to join our club of friends and supporters. Donors have enabled us to remain a vital force in insuring the health of people in all neighborhoods of Weld and Larimer Counties.
On behalf of the Rehabilitation and Visiting Nurse Association Board of Directors, staff, patients and their families, donors have our profound appreciation and gratitude for enabling our agency to remain a vital force in promoting the good health of our community.

Types of Gifts

You can donate right now!

Donations by Check, Cash
The most direct way to offer support, your gift will be deeply appreciated, whether in response to our mailed appeal or at a time convenient to you. As a non-profit organization, all gifts we receive are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law. Please make checks payable to the Rehabilitation and Visiting Nurse Association.
Memorial Gifts
One of the most meaningful ways to acknowledge the passing of a loved one is by offering a gift as a tribute to a life lived. Memorial gifts become part of our Memorial Fund, which supports charity care. Many times, families include a request for memorial gifts as part of the newspaper obituary. Often, individuals choose to make gifts in memory of their loved ones on birthdays or to mark the anniversary of their passing. A listing of the donors' names and addresses (but not the gift amount) is provided to the family of the deceased.
Honor Gifts
Gifts made in honor of a special occasion (such as a birthday, wedding or anniversary) are a thoughtful way to recognize the achievement while bringing comfort and care to the needy of our community. We are pleased to assist you in making the happy event more meaningful by notifying the honoree of your thoughtful act.
Matching Gifts
Many employers will match your charitable donation, thereby doubling (or more) your thoughtful gift. Matching gift forms, available through your company's human resources office, provide the necessary details and instructions.
Bequests
The most popular and well understood type of planned gift, a bequest, is your wish, as stipulated in your will, to designate a gift to the Rehabilitation and Visiting Nurse Association. Your bequest may be made for a specific amount of money, for a percentage of your assets, or a percentage of your residual estate (the amount left after all your specific bequest assignments have been fulfilled).
